Planning Permission for Pottern Barns

Studio LIME Architects are delighted to have secured planning approval for the restoration of The Pottern Barns on behalf of The Duchy of Cornwall.

Located near the village of Priston a few miles outside Bath, the site has incredible views over the surrounding countryside. The building was originally a terrace of 19thcentury farm workers cottages but has more recently been used as a pig barn and become partially ruined.

Our proposal is to restore the building, to create a low-carbon family home that recreates the external appearance of the original terrace. The cottage gardens will be reinstated and include new apple orchards and vegetable patches.
